🐶 Has an awesome dog named Timone.

🔫 Does tactical firearms training and went to stunt driving school this year. Says he’s “like a real life John Wick.”

🏆 Is a world champion in two different combat sports. Is currently signed to Lights Out Extreme Fighting, which has mutual owners to UWN/CWFH.

👊 Favorite wrestlers: Stone Cold, The Rock, DX, Sting (NWO-era and later). “I feel like I am a mix of all of these personalities.”

🤼‍♂️ Having a WWE talent scout express interest in him, resparked his pro wrestling dreams.

For this week’s #GettingOver feature, in which we recognize and thank the hard-working crew of #UWN, we shine the spotlight on Championship Wrestling from Hollywood ring announcer Adnan Kureishy!

🖐 Things to Know About Adnan:

🎙 In addition to his work with CWFH, is the English ring announcer for NJPW Strong and Lion’s Break Collision.

🎭 A prolific actor in high school and college, performed in productions of Romeo & Juliet, Guys & Dolls, and much more, including a General Auto Insurance commercial.

🎮 Avid gamer and ran personal fighting game tournament for his birthday, The Adnan Invitational, from 2004-2019 complete with poster graphic for each event!

🤼‍♂️ Favorite wrestlers include: “The Ace” Hiroshi Tanahashi, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels, and Rocky Romero.

🌍 Is of Pakistani and Korean decent.

🎙 Emcee/PA for many sports teams in Memphis, including the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Redbirds, Memphis Hustle, Memphis 901FC & V3Fights MMA

🤼‍♂️ Started training to be a pro wrestler at age 15, and was previously signed by WWE

👔 Owner/Host of Championship Wrestling presented by Pro Shingle, along with Maria

Five Things to Know About Jon:

👊 Trained as a wrestler and worked as a referee before moving into broadcasting.

📺 Has worked for #UnitedWrestling for 2 years as a backstage interviewer, play-by-play commentator, production coordinator and editor.

🎸 Played trombone in high school and still plays guitar.

🎶 Tour manager for various rock-and-roll bands, having worked with the likes of The Addicts and The Street Dogs.

🧳 Has traveled and worked in over 40 states across the country.

Billy Trask, Director for CWFH & the NWA!

For this week’s #GettingOver feature, in which we thank the talented and dedicated crew behind the scenes, we turn the spotlight on Billy Trask, the director for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and the NWA!

Five Things to Know About Billy:

🤲 He is mixed-handed: “My baseball coach thought I was going to be a huge asset, but I just wanted to go home and watch cartoons instead.”

🤼‍♂️ Trained to wrestle for several months under Ty Matthews before moving over to production. He trained alongside current #UnitedWrestling Television Champion Dan Joseph and Nigel McGuinness made him tap.

🎥 Started making “terrible movies” when he was 9-years old and worked on his first commercial shoot at 16.

🕹 Is an Isabelle main in #SuperSmashBros Ultimate, followed by Roy and Bowser.

🎹 Plays several instruments, including guitar, bass, piano and clarinet. “I’m easily the worst at clarinet, which is the only instrument I have formal training in.” And he lists his favorite bands as: Queen, the Beatles and the White Stripes.

Nick Bonanno, lead official for both CWFH & CWFAZ

You will probably recognize the subject of this week’s #GettingOver feature, in which we thank and spotlight the talented and dedicated team behind #UnitedWrestling.

Nick Bonanno is the lead official for both Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and Championship Wrestling from Arizona, but is also the wrestling operations producer for the organization, and host of the United Wrestling Podcast, which streams live TONIGHT at 7 pm, here on Facebook.

🖐 Things to Know About Nick

🥋 Has a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kendo.

🩰 Studied ballet to better his in-ring work.

⚰️ Built the Tomb of Terror! (Watch it TODAY on CWFAZ’s Facebook page)

📦 Constructed an enormous box fort, giant maze and a Rube Goldberg machine for different shoots.

🎞 Has been a writer/producer with #UWN since 2017 and have been writing feature films with David Marquez since 2015.

Todd Keneley, the voice of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.

For this week’s #GettingOver feature, in which we thank the hard-working and talented crew being the #UWN, we turn our spotlight on the voice of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Todd Keneley!

Six things to know about Todd:

🎙 Started working with David Marquez 20 years ago at UPW. Since then, they’ve worked on many projects together, including #CWFH, Championship Wrestling from Arizona, NJPW USA Fighting Spirit, Get Down MMA, CXF MMA, Lights Out X-Treme Fighting, Bash Boxing and more.

💪 Worked with childhood hero Hulk Hogan on Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling, Hulkamania Australia Tour and at IMPACT Wrestling.

⚰️ Was a Druid for the Undertaker’s #WrestleMania 21 entrance.

🎭 Helped form a relationship with Improv / Levity Live that resulted in the Irvine Improv hosting the 2019 Coastline Clash. Hopes to hold future #UnitedWrestling events at Levity venues nationwide.

🏈 Graduated from the University of Southern California, where he played football for USC (defensive tackle).

🎡 Loves going to theme parks with his son Jack.

For this week’s #GettingOver feature, in which we thank the amazing crew behind the curtain of our growing operation, we are pointing the spotlight at Logan Chegwidden, producer/director of both Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and Championship Wrestling from Arizona, and editor of our weekly social media series, #ThePush.

Five facts about Logan:

😎 Started working with Championship Wrestling from Hollywood in 2010.

📺 Received an Emmy nomination in 2018 for his work on the program “50 Plus Prime: Carl and Rob Reiner, Like father Like Son.”

🎥 Was the sole American camera operator on UWN’s China program, which was directed in Mandarin.

🎶 Favorite album to play in the van on the way to road shows is Marvin Gaye’s 1972 album Trouble Man.

⚰️ Favorite UWN memory is, along with Mick Greenwood, Peter Avalon and Robert Baines, murdering the original Joe Galli in 2018.

For week 4 of our #GettingOver series, featuring the hard-working and talented crew behind the United Wrestling Network, we share some pictures of and from Justin Cotterell, the official photographer for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood!

Five Things to Know About Justin:

💃 His mother owned a dance studio, where he spent his afternoons after school. “Watching her dancers helped me learn to observe movement, which helps me capture it in wrestling.”

📸 Has been a fashion, headshot and portrait photographer for 7 years, but also works as an actor, screenwriter and model.

😎 He is legally blind from birth. “Without glasses or contacts I can only see about 1 to 2 feet in front of me. I am fully aware of the irony involved with what I do.”

🎞 Pulls a lot of his inspiration visually from movies, specifically westerns, Ridley Scott films and movies set in the 90s. “I try to incorporate aesthetics from all of these into my wrestling work.”

👰 Says his wife is his favorite person to work with. “We met through photography/modeling almost 5 years ago and have been creating ever since.”

Jeramie McPeek, our play-by-play voice for CWFAZ & social manager for UWN

For week 3 of our #GettingOver series, featuring the hard-working and passionate crew behind our little operation, we point the spotlight towards Jeramie McPeek, our play-by-play voice for Championship Wrestling from Arizona and social manager for #UnitedWrestling.

Five Things to Know About Jeramie:

🏀 Spent 24 years with the Phoenix Suns before starting his own social media consultancy in 2016, and has worked with the WWE, NFL, XFL, NBA and Fiesta Bowl, among other sports and entertainment brands over the last four years.

🤙 Once did his Randy Savage impersonation for the Macho Man himself, while Hulk Hogan and Charles Barkley watched on in surprise.

💥 Partnered with Lucasfilm to organize the first-ever Star Wars Night at an NBA game in 2012, which inspired other teams to follow. There were 17 Star Wars Nights in the NBA this past season.

🎤 Has had more than a thousand articles published in national magazines over the last 25 years and has interviewed hundreds of athletes and celebrities, including Kobe, JT, Leo and The Rock.

📝 Chose to pursue a degree in journalism after having his letter to the editor about the Midnight Rockers published in PWI Pro Wrestling Illustrated as a sophomore in high school.
